Fresh Air Thinking: What We Do - People Development
At the heart of our operations is the development of people. We are committed to ensuring that our training events have clear outcomes from the start so that participants know exactly what to expect. Outcomes are usually based around developing peoples communication skills, their contribution to teamwork and their own personal development and confidence.
Our approaches to people development vary from one-one coaching, small group workshops to supporting established training programmes. Quite often newly developed skills can be tried out through the use of outdoor learning activities:
“We used a half day of outdoor learning activities for the Career Bridges programme, for middle grade support staff and presented in collaboration with the Universities of Stirling, St.Andrews and ourselves. The user friendly and enjoyable activities were designed to let our people explore teamwork and leadership styles. The approach used the theory to explore issues far mor effectively than class room training ever could.”
