Navigator - Personal Development Programme for Men

Presented by Peter Braidwood

Navigator_for_men

Navigator is a personal development programme for men. It is designed for those who wish to progress and develop themselves. The programme is held over a three-month period. Participants need to commit to attending all four workshops, to completing a workbook between workshops and to maintaining confidentiality.

Programmes are presented throughout the country as open or in house programmes.

By attending the programme participants will learn to:

  • Establish trust and take risks
  • Build support in peer development groups
  • Develop assertiveness
  • Set challenging goals
  • Get recognition for their work
  • Be aware of gender issues
  • Understand management responsibilities
  • Manage stress, balance life and fitness
  • Communicate at all levels and with all people
  • Gain commitment to achieving goals

The next 'open' Navigator programme in SCOTLAND is being presented @ Stirling University starting on Friday 29th February 2008 and finishing at the end of May.
